5.
Fuel circuit is empty when the engine stopped because of running out of fuel, or when the fuel feed pump is
replaced after servicing of the fuel hoses and tubes. In such a case, the fuel feed pump stops (the lamp
goes out) automatically.
Set the fuel feed pump switch to ON position again so as to actuate the fuel feed pump.
6.
When the lamp goes out, air bleeding is completed.
7.
Start the engine.
If the engine does not start, all the air may not be bled.
Start the engine again according to the following procedure.
1) Set the fuel feed pump switch (3) to ON position (A).
2) Start the engine while the fuel feed pump is in operation. Repeat the Steps 1) and 2) after a lapse of 2
minutes if the engine cannot be started.
3) After the engine starts, run it for approximately 5 minutes to bleed all the air from the fuel circuit.
NOTICE
Do not operate the starting motor continuously for more than 20 seconds.
If the engine does not start, wait for approximately 2 minutes, and then try to start the engine again.
METHOD FOR CLEANING LINE FILTER AND REMOVING DIRT
If any abnormality is found in hydraulic components such as
pumps, remove the dirt from the line filter as follows.
Before removing dirt from the line filter, release the internal
pressure in the hydraulic circuit by referring to “METHOD FOR
RELEASING PRESSURE IN HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT”.
1.
Remove the cover (1).
2.
Install the bolt (10 mm) to the bolt hole (A) of the element
(2), and pull out the element (2).
3.
Wash the element (2).
Clean the dirt which is attached to the filter case side wall
(B) during cleaning.
4.
Replace the O-ring (3) of the element (2), and insert the el-
ement (2) into the filter case.
5.
Replace the backup ring (4) and O-ring (5) of the cover (1).
Install the cover (1) to the filter case.
Tightening torque of the cover (1):181 Nm {18.5 kgm}
After the line filter is re-assembled, bleed air by referring to “METHOD FOR BLEEDING AIR FROM HYDRAUL-
IC CIRCUIT”.
METHOD FOR CHECKING CAMERA VISIBILITY
The direction of camera may be changed by a shock to the camera. Check the visibility of the camera.
