• Cover cannot be open with light operating effort.
• Cover cannot stay in open position.
• When oil or gas is found to be leaking from the gas spring
METHOD FOR BLEEDING AIR FROM HYDRAULIC CIRCUIT

CAUTION
Cancel the automatic warm-up operation, and start the engine to perform the air bleeding.
• METHOD FOR CANCELING AUTOMATIC WARM-UP OPERATION
1.
Turn the starting switch to ON position.
2.
Turn the fuel control dial to MAX position, and hold it 3 seconds.
3.
Turn the fuel control dial to MIN position.
4.
Start the engine.
NOTICE
• Bleed air according to the following order.
1.
Pump (work equipment, swing)(perform without starting the engine.)
2.
Work equipment circuit
• Be sure to stop the engine before bleeding air from the pump.
• Run the engine at 1000 rpm or less. Operate the cylinder slowly.
• Do not increase the cylinder pressure by sudden operation. Do not operate the cylinder to the
stroke end.
• Operate the cylinder particularly slowly for the first time of operations of each cylinder (extending
and retracting).
• The work equipment is not operated for 10 seconds or more at the first operation due to a large
amount of air mixed in the circuit. Do not move the lever to the stroke end.
• Use clean oil which is NAS 7th grade or higher when it is used to be filled in the pump, etc. Use
clean oil jug as well.
Bleed air according to the following Steps 1. through 6.

BLEED AIR FROM PUMP (PERFORM BEFORE STARTING THE ENGINE)
1) Loosen the air bleeding plug (1) and check that oil (4)
oozes out from the air bleeder (3).
