At this time, keep the radiator cap (2) removed.
16. Open the reservoir tank inspection cover (8), drain the
coolant from the reservoir tank (9), clean the inside of the
reservoir tank, then add the coolant to the middle between
FULL and LOW marks.
NOTICE
If it is extremely dirty and it is difficult to clean, replace
it with a new one.
17. Stop the engine, wait for approximately 3 minutes, add
coolant up to the mouth of the filler port, and tighten the ra-
diator cap (2).
18. Install the cover (1).
METHOD FOR CHECKING LOOSENESS AND TIGHTENING TRACK SHOE
BOLTS
NOTICE
If the machine is used with track shoe bolts loose, they will break. If any looseness of the shoe bolts is
found, retighten it.
1.
Check for looseness of the track shoe bolts (1).
2.
If any looseness of the bolts is found, tighten it in the order
shown in the figure.
Tightening torque:1372±137.2 Nm {140±14 kgm}
3.
Check that the nut and shoe are in close contact with the
link contact surface.
4.
After checking, tighten a further 150±10 °.
METHOD FOR CHECKING AND ADJUSTING TRACK TENSION
The wear of the pins and bushings of the undercarriage depends on the working condition and soil condition.
Check the track tension occasionally and keep it in the standard range.
Perform check and adjustment on a level and firm ground.
