Never climb on the side cover as this may lead to slipping and falling.

When carrying out an inspection or maintenance operation inside the side cover, always open it
completely and make sure that it is kept open by the apposite lever.
NOTICE
If it is not necessary to open the side cover, always keep it
locked.

Make sure it is closed by checking that the opening
pushbutton is locked.
1. Release the lock (1) of the side cover.

(For details, see "HOODS AND DOORS FITTED WITH A
LOCK (3-83)").
2. Press the release button (1) and open the lateral cover (2).
3. After opening the cover (2), fit the safety rod (3) to secure
in position.
4. To close the side cover (2), remove the safety rod (3),
insert in the corresponding catch, then lower the side cover
slowly and push it downwards until the lock clicks.
