1.
Remove the dipstick (K) from the oil filler port (J) and wipe
off oil on it with a cloth.

Fully insert the dipstick (K) into the guide.
3.
Remove the dipstick (K) and check that the oil level is be-
tween the (H) and (L) marks on the dipstick.
4.
If the oil level does not reach (L) mark on dipstick (K), add
oil through oil filler port (J).
Remove the dipstick (K) when adding oil.
5.
If the oil level is above the mark (H) on dipstick (K), loosen
the drain valve (Q) to drain the excessive oil.
Tightening torque of drain valve (Q): 19.6 to 24.5 Nm {2.0
to 2.5 kgm}
Set a container to catch the oil under drain valve (Q) be-
fore draining the oil.
6.
After checking the oil level or adding oil, insert the dipstick
(K) into the oil filler port (J).

Immediately after the engine is stopped, its parts and oil are still very hot, and may cause burn injury.
Wait for the temperature to go down, and then start the work.

Remove the dipstick (G) and wipe off oil on it with a cloth.
2.
Insert the dipstick (G) fully into guide.
