CHECK OIL LEVEL IN FINAL DRIVE CASE, ADD OIL

WARNING
q
The parts and oil are at high temperature immediately after the engine is stopped, and may cause seri-
ous burns. Wait for the temperature to go down before starting the operation.
q
If there is still pressure remaining inside the case, the oil or plug may fly out.
Loosen the plug slowly to release the pressure.
q
Prepare a handle.
1.
Set the TOP mark at the top, with the UP mark and plug (P)
perpendicular to the ground surface.
2.
Using a handle, remove plug (F) and check that the oil
level is within a range of 10 mm below the bottom edge of
the plug hole.

If the oil level is low, check again. Install plug (F), operate
the travel lever, travel in FORWARD or REVERSE, and
rotate the sprocket one turn. Perform inspection for Proce-
dure 2 again.

If the oil level is low, add engine oil through plug hole (F)
until the oil overflows from plug hole (F).

After checking, install plug (F).
