CLEAN STRAINER OF COUPLING LUBRICATING OIL FILTER 4
WARNING
Start the engine, run it for approx. 10 minutes at low idling, and check for any leakage of fuel from the filter
seal mounting surface.
1. Remove filter case (1).
2. Take out the strainer, remove any dirt stuck to the strainer,
then wash it in flushing oil.
If the strainer or O-ring are damaged, replace with a new
part.
3. Install the strainer and filter case (1).
REPLACE DRAIN FILTER CARTRIDGE 4
1. Using a filter wrench, turn the filter cartridge (1) to the left
to remove it.
2. Fill the new filter cartridge with hydraulic oil, coat the pack-
ing surface with oil, then install it.
When installing it, bring the packing surface into contact
with the seal surface of the filter holder, then tighten a fur-
ther 1/2 - 3/4 turns.
