Check Coolant Level, Add Coolant
WARNING
q
Do not open the radiator cap unless necessary. Wait for the engine to cool down before checking the
coolant in the sub-tank.
q
Immediately after the engine is stopped, the coolant is at a high temperature and the radiator is under
high internal pressure. If the cap is removed to check the coolant level in this condition, there is a
hazard of burns. Wait for the temperature to go down, then turn the cap slowly to release the pres-
sure before removing it.
1.
Open rear cover (1) at left side of the machine, and check
coolant level is between the FULL and LOW lines in sub
tank (2). If the level is low, open top cover (3) and add cool-
ant through filler (4) of sub tank to the FULL line.
2.
After adding coolant, tighten the cap securely.
3.
If sub tank (2) is empty, check for leaks, then check coolant
level in the radiator. If the coolant level is low, add coolant
to the radiator, then add coolant to sub tank (2).
