WARNING
It is dangerous if the work equipment moves by mistake when the blade edge angle is adjusted.
Set the work equipment in a stable condition, then stop the engine. Set the work equipment lock lever in
LOCK position securely.
NOTICE
If the distance between joints (B) is lengthened than the standard length, do not perform the full-angling
operation of the blade.
The blade edge angle can be adjusted to meet the soil conditions.
Turn rod (1) to increase distance (B) between the joints, and
blade edge angle (A) increases. Turn rod (1) to decrease (B)
and blade edge angle (A) decreases.
Standard blade edge angle (A) is 55 ° and distance (B) be-
tween the joints is 470 mm {18.5 in} .
This is suitable for general operations.
Maximum blade edge angle (A) is 58 ° and distance (B) be-
tween the joints is 516 mm {20.3 in} .
This is suitable for digging operations on clay soil or hard soil.
This will improve the removal of the soil from the blade, and re-
duce spillage of soil over the back of the blade. This is suitable also for dozing operation on uphill slope.
Minimum blade edge angle (A) is 52 ° and distance (B) between the joints is 424 mm {16.7 in} .
This allows the blade to gather a larger amount of soil and is suitable for hauling operations on soft soil.
This makes it easier for the cutting edge of the blade to thrust into the soil, so it is suitable for operation of dig-
ging into hard soil.
1.
Remove bolts (2) (2 pieces).
2.
Remove cover (3).
3.
Insert a bar in hole (C) of rod (1) and turn rod (1).
The distance between joints (B) can be adjusted by turning the rod (1).
