CHECK OIL LEVEL IN ENGINE OIL PAN, ADD OIL
WARNING
Engine parts and oil are at high temperature immediately after the engine is stopped, and will cause seri-
ous burns. Wait for the temperature to cool down before starting the operation.
1. Open the engine side cover on the left side of the chassis.
2. Remove dipstick (G) and wipe the oil off with a cloth.
3. Completely insert dipstick (G) into the oil filler pipe, then
remove it and check the oil level.
4. The oil level should be between the H and L marks on dip-
stick (G).
If the oil level is below the L mark, add oil through oil filler
(F).
5. If the oil level is above the H mark, remove cover (1) at the
bottom of the machine.
Loosen drain plug (P), drain the excess oil, then check the
oil level again.
6. If the oil level is correct, tighten the oil filler cap securely
and close the engine side cover.
REMARK
If the machine is at an angle, reposition it to level before check-
ing.
When checking the oil level after the engine has been oper-
ated, allow the engine to cool for 15 minutes before checking.
