2.7 PRECAUTIONS FOR THE REMOVAL OF THE MACHINE

Before removing the machine, make sure that all the controls
are in neutral.
q
Incorrect manoeuvres may cause serious damage, personal in-
jury and even death.
q
To move the machine, use properly dimensioned steel cables;
do not use worn cables or cables with broken strands (A), de-
formed cables (B), twisted cables (C).
q
During the removal, no one can be allowed to get near the ma-
chines or the cable.
q
Do not stand astride the cable.
q
Move the machine only as far as necessary to allow the re-
quired repairs to be carried out.
q
Put wooden blocks between the towing cable and the machine
body, in order to avoid wear or damage.
q
Do not remove the machine in any way other than that indicated
in paragraph "3.7.3 REMOVING THE MACHINE".
CAUTION
q
The maximum applicable force for the removal is
F= 2,000 kg (for canopy)
F= 2,150 kg (for cab)
q
Use cables having the same length and draw continuosly
and constantly, without jerks.
q
Position and connect the machine to be removed taking
care that it is on the same axis as the towing vehicle; the
traction force exerted must be parallel to the axis of move-
ment of the machine.
