3.6.2 STARTING THE ENGINE
WARNING
q
Before starting the engine, carefully read the instructions and information regarding safety given in this
manual and make sure that you know the controls.
From the moment in which the engine is started, the operator is directly responsible for any damage that
may be caused by wrong manoeuvres and non-compliance with the safety regulations and the rule of
the road.
q
Before starting the engine, disconnect all electric devices (heating, air conditioning, lights, work lights,
etc.).
q
Before starting the engine, make sure that there is no one within the range of movement of the machine
and sound the horn.
q
Before starting the engine, make sure that the gearshift and reversing gear levers are in neutral position.
A safety device does not allow the machine to be started with engaged gears or selected travel direction.
The machine is also equipped with an acoustic alarm that is activated when the operator, with the engine
running, shifts the reversing gear lever from the neutral position with the seat rotated and not in the cor-
rect driving position.
