CHECK OIL LEVEL IN ENGINE OIL PAN, ADD OIL
WARNING
Parts and oil are at high temperature immediately after the engine is stopped and may cause serious
burns. Wait for the oil temperature to go down before performing this operation.
1.
Open the engine side cover on the left side of the chassis.
2.
Remove dipstick (G), and wipe the oil off with a cloth.
3.
Fully insert dipstick (G) into filler pipe (F), then remove it.
4.
The oil level should be between the H and L marks on dip-
stick (G).
If the oil level is below the L mark, add engine oil through
oil filler (F).
5.
If the oil is above the H mark, drain the excess engine oil
from drain plug (P), and check the oil level again.
6.
If the oil level is correct, tighten the oil filler cap securely
and close the engine side cover.
REMARK
Check the oil level with the engine stopped.
When checking the oil level immediately after stopping the
engine, wait for at least 15 minutes after stopping the engine
before starting the inspection operation.
If the machine is at an angle, set it in a level position before
starting inspection.
When adding oil, remove the dipstick from the guide to remove
the air inside the crankcase.
