REPLACE CORROSION RESISTOR CARTRIDGE

Use Komatsu genuine cartridge.
1.
Screw in 2 valves (1) at the top of the corrosion resistor.
2.
Using a filter wrench, turn cartridge (2) to the left to remove
it.
3.
Apply engine oil to the sealing surface of a new cartridge,
then install it to the filter holder.
4.
When installing, screw in cartridge until seal comes in con-
tact with sealing surface, then tighten approx. 2/3 turn.
5.
Open valves (1) (2 places).
CHECK FOR LOOSE ROPS MOUNT BOLTS

Check that the bolts are not loose and that there is no damage.
If any bolt is loose, tighten it to the following torque.
If there is any damage, replace the bolt with a genuine Komatsu part.
Tightening torque: 785 to 980 N·m (80 to 100 kgf·m)
INSPECTION OF AFTER-COOLER CIRCUIT FOR LOOSENED BOLTS AND NUTS

Check each clamp for loosening. If any clamp is found loosened, tighten it further.
