Troubleshooting Procedures
This troubleshooting guide is for general aid only. A Kohler Authorized Service Representative or qualified
electrician should correct any electrical problems. For warranty service, contact your dealer or wholesale
distributor.

No water flow.

Water supplies are not open.

Open the hot and cold water
supplies.

Shower valve is not open.

Turn the valve handle
clockwise to open the valve.
2.
Maximum water temperature is
too hot or too cold.
A.
Maximum water temperature is
not adjusted properly.
A.
Adjust the maximum water
temperature. Refer to the
Optional Temperature Limiting
Adjustment section.
3.
Telescopic shower arm does
not raise or lower.
A.
Counterweight system does not
work.
A.
Repair or replace the
counterweight system. Contact
the installer/dealer.
4.
Uneven or restricted water
spray pattern from a
showerhead, sprayhead, or
handshower.
A.
Dirt or mineral build-up in the
showerhead.
A.

5.
Water leaks past the shower
enclosure.
A.
Worn or damaged shower
enclosure seals.

Replace the shower enclosure
seals. Contact the
installer/dealer.

Sidesprays do not slide up and
down easily.

Sidesprays are not being
moved properly.

Carefully pull the sidespray
out then slide up or down to
the desired position.

Rollers are dirty or worn.

Clean, repair, or replace the
sidespray assembly. Contact

System runs out of hot water

Hot water source is not

Calculate the amount of hot
water needed for showering
and install a water heater of
adequate size to accommodate
your showering needs.

Poor water flow from all

Water supply pressure is too
low.

This product requires a
running water pressure of at
least 45 psi. If necessary, install
a booster pump.

Water supply lines are too
