Failures and Error Handling
The Multiloader is a Microprocessor-controlled unit that minimizes the actions
necessary to solve any possible problems in the unit. For any failure in the Multiloader,
the Microprocessor starts an automatic error handling sequence.
When an error occurs, the Multiloader tries to save the exposed film; that is, unload the
cassette, process the exposed film and return the cassette.
There are two groups of failures which can occur in the Multiloader:
• Failures that can only be solved by your Kodak Service Representative.
• Failures which can be corrected by the operator or by the Multiloader itself.
For any failure in the cycle of the Multiloader, the error and the action to be taken are
displayed.
Some errors require more than 1 screen to display the error message. Press MORE to
obtain more information on the screen.
At installation, you can have the Kodak Service Representative adjust the Multiloader
so that the operator can clear every error message by pressing CLEAR.
