4.4 Initial startup
Note:
Before the detector is ready for use, a flow cell must be installed.
Before installing the flow cell, the optical path length in the flow cell can
be changed. The optimal path length depends on the type and the quan-
tity of the sample.
4.4.1 Inserting the flow cell
Note:
The test cell is used during operation qualifications and must be
stored.
Detector is switched off.
Power plug is disconnected from the device.

Remove the test cell.

Insert the flow cell

the detector.

Insert the knurled-he-
ad screws and screw
tight.
The flow cell is assembled.
Connect the capillaries.
