Constant Volume Controller

CSC-1001

Mounting

The CSC-1001 is position sensitive.  It must be mounted
and calibrated in the same plane.  The horizontal plane
is best but vertical is acceptable.

1. Using the right angle bracket, connect the unit to

the mounting surface with 2 self threading screws
in the 1/4" (6 mm) mounting holes.

2. Make sure to leave enough room to make

connections.

Connections

1. Connect the main air supply to Port “M” using 1/4"

(5 mm) O.D. FR Tubing.

2. Using 3/8" (6 mm) O.D. FR tubing, connect the “HI”

port to a Pitot tube in the high air flow.

3.  Using 3/8" (6 mm) O.D. FR tubing connect the “LO”

port to a Pitot tube in the low air flow.

Each device is shipped ready for use as a high limit

control on a VAV terminal.

1. Check that Port “C” is plugged

2. Using 1/4" (5 mm) O.D. FR Tubing, connect the

terminal box actuator to Port “H”. This will allow
the unit to override the thermostat.

3. Using 1/4" (5 mm) O.D. FR Tubing, connect the DA

heating/RA cooling thermostat to Port “T”

To use the CSC-1001 as a constant volume controller:
