Installation of the Cover Glass
•
Install the seal of the cover glass, see section 8.3.2 “Replacing the Seal of the Cover Glass”, page 66.
The cover glass is real glass and can be cleaned with a commercially available glass cleaner.
•
Clean both sides of the cover glass.
•
Wear (cloth) gloves so that the inside of the cover
glass remains clean.
•
Position the cover glass with seal on the light
casing so that the joint of the seal sits on the
cardanic system.
•
Press in the cover glass using gentle force.
•
Replace the seal (4) of the clamping ring if
necessary.
•
Put on the clamping ring and re-tighten it using
the 4 screws (1) put aside earlier and a torque of
2 Nm.
•
Install the connector (3).
•
If present, plug the 3 video cables into their
sockets (2).
•
Install the sensoGrip in reverse order as described in section 8.2.1 “Removing the sensoGrip”, page 62.
