Key Field
(1) STANDBY key
Pressing this key switches the device into
STANDBY
mode.
•
Laser parameters can be adjusted.
•
Apart from the pilot laser light, no other laser light can
be emitted.
(2) LASER READY key
Pressing this key switches the device into
LASER READY
mode if a suitable laser fiber is connected. The pilot laser is
automatically activated.
(3) PILOT key
Pressing the pilot key activates/deactivates the pilot laser
in
STANDBY
mode if a laser fiber is connected.
Deactivating the pilot laser in
LASER READY
mode
switches the device into
STANDBY
mode.
NOTICE
Safety interlock!
•
The key field is blocked during laser light emission. While the laser is active, it cannot be
switched into
STANDBY
mode.
•
The rotary knob is inactive during laser light emission. The parameters cannot be
adjusted while the laser is activated.
