On-Vehicle Mechanical Assembly Steps
Complete following steps
on
vehicle.
Raise vehicle off ground using appropriate vehicle lift, ramps, or jack stands.
DANGER
: Installation requires being underneath vehicle and applying forces to vehicle chassis. Follow all
recommended safety precautions
for raising vehicle; consult vehicle owner’s manual.
10.1.
JK ONLY - Air Tank Bracket (JK-201) to Frame Installation
10.1.1.
Locate factory charcoal canister in rear of vehicle, directly in front of rear coil springs on driver side.
10.1.2.
Remove two (2) M8 bolts that hold front side of evaporative canister, as shown in Figure 9 below; do not
discard bolts, as they will be used in later step.

Canister will slightly hang downwards and a gap will be visible at crossmember

Insert JK-201 Tank Bracket in between frame crossmember and evaporative canister, as shown in Figure
10 below.
