Separate the gap-filling
transducer from the spring
plates.

Repeat all the above steps
to remove the other
gap-filling transducer.
4.3.7 Installing the
Gap-filling
Transducers
To install the gap-filling
transducers:
1.
Slide the gap-filling
transducer between the
spring plates such that the
cable lays into the slot of
the mounting block.
2.
Reverse Steps 1 through 8 in “Removing the Gap-filling Transducers” on page
4-13 for each transducer.
3.
Slide the nose cone into the towfish housing, aligning the locator pin on the
nose cone with the slot in the housing and threading the nose cone retaining
bolt into the end cap as shown in Figure 4-14 on page 4-10.
4.
Tighten the nose cone retaining bolt.
