Only the Applied force variable is accessible for change in this screen.
Applied Force (mg)
This is the force exerted by the stylus on the sample surface. With each different
stylus radius there are recommended limits that should be taken into consideration
when setting the
Applied Force
. The
Applied Force
should not exceed the
recommended maximum force.
