USING THE CERAMIC BOWL TIPS FOR GREAT RESULTS
USING THE CERAMIC BOWL
Before First Use
Your Stand Mixer is individually adjusted at the factory for optimal performance.
When using the Ceramic Bowl, it may be necessary to readjust the beater-to-bowl
clearance. Ensure the thread ring is tight enough to avoid beater-to-bowl hits. When
correctly positioned, the handle, and pour spout should not touch the pedestal of
the Stand Mixer. Please refer to the Stand Mixer “Instructions” manual for complete
information on adjusting the beater-to-bowl clearance.
IMPORTANT: Before use, wash with hot, soapy water, rinse, and dry thoroughly.
This Ceramic Bowl is designed to fit all 5K45 and 5KSM45-5KSM185 models. Follow
these instructions to attach the Ceramic Bowl to your Stand Mixer.
Attaching the ceramic bowl
1. Be sure speed control is OFF (on “0”)
and Stand Mixer is unplugged. Tilt
the motor head back.
2. Place the Ceramic Bowl on the
clamping plate, and attach by turning
gently in a clockwise direction.
3. Attach the appropriate accessory
for your recipe, using the directions
in the Stand Mixer “Instructions”
manual. Then place the motor head
back in the down position and lock
into place.
Removing the Ceramic Bowl
1. Be sure speed control is OFF (on “0”)
and Stand Mixer is unplugged. Tilt
the motor head back.
2. Remove the accessory from the
Stand Mixer, using the directions
in the Stand Mixer “Instructions”
manual.
3. Turn the Ceramic Bowl gently in a
counterclockwise direction to remove
from the Stand Mixer clamping plate
