Installation and Operation Guide
A qualified technician is required to install the Remote Panel to the AC charger. Take
caution when working with battery. Always disconnect the AC Power before you make
any installation.
WARNING: Shock, fire and energy hazards.
This Remote Panel is to be used with KISAE AC12XX Series for single charger operation and
KISAE AC24XX Series for single or parallel charger operation.
Mounting the Remote Panel:
•
Choose an appropriate mounting location.
•
Use the wall cutout template and the Remote Panel mounting template to mark the positions
of the mounting holes.
For use with KISAE AC12XX Series with single charger unit operation:
•
Install the RJ45 Cable in your desired location.
•
Connect one end of the RJ45 cable to ‘Com 1’ of Remote Panel. Please note the polarity.
•
Secure the Remote Panel.
•
Connect the other end of RJ45 cable to the ‘Remote’ port of the 12V charger. Please note the
polarity.
•
The Remote Panel is now ready to use.
Important: The AC12XX Series cannot be operated in parallel, and ‘Com 2’ on the Remote
Panel is not used. Please do not connect the 12V charger to ‘Com 2’, or connect a second
12V charger to ‘Com 2’
For use with KISAE AC24XX Series with single charger unit operation:
•
Install the RJ45 Cable in your desired location.
•
Connect one end of the RJ45 cable to ‘Com 1’ of Remote Panel. Please note the polarity.
•
Secure the Remote Panel.
•
Connect the other end of RJ45 cable to the ‘Remote’ port of the 24V charger. Please note the
polarity.
•
The Remote Panel is now ready to use.
Important: The AC24XX Series can be operated in parallel. See below section for 24V Charger
parallel operation.
