Entering text in character codes

Enter kanji characters and symbols that you do not know how to read, using Unicode or

Shift_JIS character codes.

Select 'Search/Insert' - 'Character palette' in the menu screen and

press enter.

The 'Character palette' screen appears.

Press the tab key to select 'Unicode' or 'Shift_JIS'.

Enter the character code you want to enter.

Character codes are not given in this manual. Please refer to
commercially available dictionaries.

Some Unicode characters cannot be stored in Shift_JIS.
