Basic keyboard operation
This section describes the main uses of the keys other than for entering text.
(1) Halfwidth / Fullwidth Kanji key
Turns Japanese input on or off.
(ii) esc (escape) key.
Returns to the previous screen.
(iii) Numeric keys
Enter a number; hold down the SHIFT key and press the number keys to enter
the symbol in the upper left-hand corner of the number keys.
*Cannot be entered during kana input or thumb shift.
(iv) tab key.
The text editing screen inserts tabs into the text being edited.
In the menu screen, move the cursor or active area to the next item.
5) Shift key.
Press in combination with other keys to perform shortcut functions.
