ANNUNCIATOR SYSTEM
The annunciator system (Figure 4-1) con-
sists of an annunciator panel centrally lo-
cated in the glareshield, a PRESS-TO-TEST
switch, a MASTER WARNING flasher, and
a MASTER CAUTION flasher (Figure 4-2).
The red MASTER WARNING flasher and
yellow MASTER CAUTION flasher is lo-
cated in the glareshield in front of the pilot,
and the PRESS-TO-TEST switch is located
immediately to the left of the annunciator

covered by the annunciator system occurs,
a signal is generated, and the appropriate
annunciator is illuminated.

(Figure 4-3) in the annunciator panel illu-
minates as well as the MASTER CAUTION
flasher.
The annunciator panel also contains g reen
advisor y annunciators. There are no fault
war ning flashers associated with advisor y
annunciators.
An illuminated caution annunciator on the
annunciator panel will remain on until the
fault condition is cor rected, at which time
it will extinguish. An annunciator can be
extinguished only by cor recting the condi-
tion indicated on the illuminated lens.
The illumination of a green annunciator light
will not trigger the f ault war ning system,
but a red annunciator will actuate the MAS-
TER WARNING flasher. Yellow annuncia-

MASTER WARNING FLASHER
If the fault requires the immediate attention
and reaction of the pilot, the appropriate red
warning annunciator (Figure 4-3) in the an-
nunciator panel illuminates, and the MAS-
TER WARNING flasher begins flashing.
Any illuminated red lens in the annunciator
panel will remain on until the fault is cor-
rected. The MASTER WARNING flasher
can be extinguished by depressing the face
of the MASTER WARNING flasher, even if
the fault is not cor rected. In such a case, the
MASTER WARNING flasher will again be
activated if an additional war ning annunci-
ator illuminates. When a war ning f ault is
cor rected, the affected war ning annuncia-

until it is depressed.
