KleenGuard™ RA3316 Respirator (TC-84A-7882) are NIOSH approved as N95 particulate filter respirators. They provide
95% filtration efficiency of 0.3-micron particles.
USE INSTRUCTIONS:
1.
Before occupational use of this respirator, a written respiratory protection program must be implemented meeting all
local government requirements. In the United States, employers must comply with OSHA 29CFR1910.134 which
includes medical evaluation, training, and fit testing
2.
Before use, the wearer must first be trained by the employer in the correct use of the respirator in accordance with
applicable safety and health standards. Visually inspect the filtering facepiece respirator prior to each use to ensure
that there are no holes or other damage in the breathing zone, especially around the attachment points of the
headbands. Discard the respirator if there are any signs of holes or damage.
3.
Discard the respirator and replace with a new one if the respirator becomes damaged, soiled, or excessive clogging of
the respirator causes breathing difficulty.
4.
Failure to properly select the appropriate respirator for all the contaminants and their concentrations against which
protection is required and/or failure to properly wear the respirator for the whole duration of exposure to contaminants
may reduce respirator performance characteristics and user protection and may result in illness, injury, or death.
5.
Leave the contaminated area if dizziness, irritation, or other distress occurs.
6.
Store the respirator away from contaminated areas when not in use. Store respirators in accordance with temperature
and humidity conditions specified.
7.
Dispose of used product in accordance with applicable regulations.
USE LIMITATIONS:
1.
DO NOT
use the respirator or enter or stay in a contaminated area under the following circumstances:
•
Where gases or vapors, oil aerosols, sandblasting, paint-spray operations, or asbestos in any concentration are
present
•
Atmosphere contains less than 19.5% oxygen
•
Contaminants or their concentrations are unknown or immediately dangerous to life or health
•
Concentrations or contaminants exceed maximum use concentrations in applicable OSHA standards or
applicable government regulations or 10 times the PEL (Permissible Exposure Limit), whichever is lower
2.
DO NOT
alter, modify, wash, abuse, or misuse the respirator.
3.
DO NOT
use the respirator with beards or other facial hair that interferes with direct contact between the face and the
edge of the respirator, or any other conditions that may prevent an effective face-seal.
4.

5.
Respirators can help protect your lungs against certain airborne particulate contaminants. They will not prevent entry
through other routes such as the skin, which would require additional personal protective equipment (PPE).
6.
This respirator is designed for occupational/professional use by adults who are properly trained in its use and
limitations. This respirator is not designed to be used by children.
7.
Individuals with a compromised respiratory system should consult a physician and must complete a medical
evaluation prior to use.
