Connecting the DUT
We recommend installing a fuse or switch between this
product and the DUT to safely connect them and
prevent short-circuit accidents in the output and voltage
sensing cables. Install fuse or switch as close to the
DUT terminals as possible.
WARNING
Risk of electric shock.
• Connect the cable to this product first when connecting a DUT and this product.
• When installing a fuse between this product and the DUT, be sure to turn off the
POWER switch and the switchboard circuit breaker.
• Turn the POWER switch off before you touch the output terminals.
CAUTION
• Be sure to connect the voltage sensing cable.
The system will not work properly if it is not connected. Be sure to connect the DUT so that
its terminal is located nearest to the DUT. Performing a charge test without connecting the
voltage sensing cable may damage the DUT and is extremely dangerous.
• A fuse blowing may lead to explosions or fire. Be sure to put a cover on the fuse.
• Use DC fuses that have sufficient breaking capacity.
• Connect the DUT after turning on the power switch.
If there is a problem, the warning function
can prevent failure from occurring.
• Connect the temperature measurement box whether or not temperature is to be
measured. When disconnected, an alarm occurs
and the test cannot be started.
Recommended fuse rating for output cable
