Maintenance
To maintain the unit's original performance as long as possible, con-
duct periodic checks and maintenance.
6.1
Cleaning
When the panel gets soiled, wet a piece of soft cloth with a water-
diluted neutral detergent, and wipe the panel softly.
The air intake port on the front panel is equipped with an air
fi
lter
inside. Suck out any dust with a vacuum cleaner.
The model 175W has no air
fi
lter.
• For maintenance work, always turn off the POWER
switch, and either disconnect the AC power code or
turn off the switch on the switchboard.
• Do not use volatile solvents such as thinner and ben-
zine. They may discolor the unit surface coating,
erase printed characters, or make face of display
opaque.
6.2
Inspection
Power code
Check that there is no damage on the insulation coating, and that the
plug is
fi
rmly attached and free from cracks.
• Breaks in the insulation coating may cause electric
shock. If a break is found, immediately stop using the
unit.
