Requirements for operation and notes

The outstanding design of the SATA RAID system allows the user to use two hard disk drives at
the same time.
■
Since the system primarily uses stringent criteria to detect errors on the hard disk drive, please
ensure that your drive is free of errors and has a minimum storage capacity of 20 GB.
■
Please switch the first and second hard disk drive in the SATA RAID system to MASTER or
single-drive mode. Otherwise, the system cannot detect the hard disk drives.
■
The SATA RAID system is equipped with a 6 cm ball-bearing fan that cools the hard disk drive. We
strongly recommend using a computer chassis with an effective cooling system to prevent the disk
array from becoming damaged due to insufficient cooling.
■
The system is present in RAID1 mode.
