Use a flat head screwdriver to
unlock the screw at the back of
the seat. Lift seat

ONLY AN ADULT CAN CHARGE AND RECHARGE THE BATTERY.
NOTE:
It is not necessary to remove the battery from the vehicle for charging. However,
if the adapter cord will not safely reach a 120-volt wall outlet, the
battery can be removed for charging (see page 13).
Charge Battery Before Assembly

Plug the charger into a standard
120-volt wall outlet
(Figure 4)

The charger may feel warm
during charging. This is normal
and not a cause for concern.
Disconnect Charger from Battery

Unplug the charger from the wall outlet.

Unplug the charger connector from the battery.

Plug the engine connector into the battery.

Position the seat over the battery. Lower the seat hook into
the hole (at front of seat). Lock seat screw
(Figure 1)
