FULL RANGE ENCLOSURE SYSTEM
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
In most vehicles the best mounting position for your new SS600 enclosures is as far to
the rear of the vehicle as possible with the speakers facing forward.
After determining the best mounting position, turn each enclosure upside-down and
attach two of the enclosed mounting brackets to the bottom of each enclosure using the
enclosed small screws. Pilot holes 1/16-inch in diameter should be drilled before inserting
the screws. Each bracket must be positioned so the rounded end protrudes approximately
3/4 inch from under the cabinet to allow a screw to easily pass through it for attachment
to the vehicle.
Plug the speaker wires securely into the left and right speaker terminals. Make certain
the polarity is the same on both sides. Failure to do this will result in the two channels
being out of phase and will drastically reduce bass performance.
Position the enclosure in its mounting position and securely attach it to the vehicle with
the enclosed large screws. If the brackets and screws are not applicable to your installation,
some other means must be used to secure the enclosure to your vehicle.
