LEAKAGE
1. Connect a coolant system pressure tester to the radiator filler neck.
2. Apply 15 psi (103 kPa, 1.05 kg/cm
2
) pressure to the system.
3. Verify that the pressure remains steady at 15 psi (103 kPa, 1.05 kg/cm
2
).
4. If not, check system for coolant leakage.
REPLACEMENT
1. Remove radiator cap and loosen drain plug.
WARNING:
Never open radiator cap while engine is hot.
Wrap a thick cloth around cap before loosening.
Use caution when draining hot coolant.
CAUTION:
Do not use alcohol or methanol-based coolant.
Use only demineralized water in coolant mixture.
