Door locks
僅 Move to the cargo area and open the
tailgate.
WARNING
Do not pull the inner door handle of
driver's (or passenger's) door whilst the
vehicle is moving.
With central door lock/unlock
switch
It is operated by pressing the door lock/
unlock switch.
僅 When you press the central door lock
switch, all vehicle doors will lock and
the indicator light on the switch will
illuminate.
僅 If any front door is opened when the
switch is pressed, all doors will not
lock.
僅 If any door is unlocked, the indicator
of the central door lock switch will go
off.
僅 When you press the central door
unlock switch, all vehicle doors will
unlock.
僅 If one of the door is unlocked whilst all
doors are locked, the indicator will
blink.
NOTICE
Once the doors are locked with the
transmitter or smart key, the doors can
-
not be unlocked with the central door
lock/ unlock switch.
WARNING
Doors
僅 The doors should always be fully
closed and locked whilst the vehicle is
in motion to prevent accidental open
-
ing of the door. Locked doors will also
discourage potential intruders when
the vehicle stops or slows down.
僅 Be careful when opening doors and
watch out for vehicles, motorcycles,
bicycles or pedestrians approaching
the vehicle in the path of the door.
Opening a door when something is
approaching can result in an accident
to cause vehicle damage or serious
injury.
WARNING
Unlocked vehicles
Leaving your vehicle unlocked can
increase the risk of vehicle theft or any
possible criminal harm caused by some
-
one hiding in your vehicle whilst you are
gone. Always remove the ignition key,
engage the parking brake, close all win
-
dows and lock all doors when leaving
your vehicle unattended.
WARNING
Unattended children, the elderly or
pets
An enclosed vehicle can become
extremely hot, causing death or severe
injury such as heatstroke to unattended
children, the elderly or pets who cannot
