Driver Attention Warning enters the
ready status and displays the 'Disabled'
screen in the following situations.
僅 The camera does not detect the lanes.
僅 Driving speed remains under 0 km/h
or over 200 km/h (125 mph).

When the warning message appears, the
function is not working properly. In this
case, have the vehicle inspected by a
professional workshop. Kia recommends
to visit an authorised Kia dealer/service
partner.

僅 Driver Attention Warning is not a sub

stitute for safe driving practices, but a
convenience function only. It is the
responsibility of the driver to always
drive cautiously to prevent unex
-
pected and sudden situations from
occurring. Pay attention to the road
conditions at all times.
僅 The function may suggest a break
according to the driver's driving pat
-
tern or habits even if the driver
doesn't feel fatigue.
僅 The driver, who feels fatigued, should
take a break, even though there is no
break suggestion by Driver Attention
Warning.
NOTICE
Driver Attention Warning utilizes the
camera sensor on the front windscreen
for its operation. To keep the camera
sensor in the best condition, you should
observe the followings:
僅 NEVER install any accessories or
stickers on the front windscreen, nor
tint the front windscreen.
僅 NEVER locate any reflective objects
(i.e. white paper, mirror) over the
dashboard. Any light reflection may
cause a malfunction of Driver Atten
-
tion Warning.
僅 Pay extreme caution to keep the cam
-
era sensor out of water.
僅 NEVER arbitrarily disassemble the
camera assembly, nor apply any
impact on front view camera assem
-
bly.
