Lane Keeping Assist (LKA)
僅 Except Europe/Australia/Russia
With the vehicle on, press and hold the
Lane Driving Assist button on the steer
-
ing wheel to turn on Lane Keeping
Assist. The indicator light will appear on
the cluster.
NOTICE
僅 When Lane Keeping Assist is turned
off with the Lane Driving Assist but
-
ton, Lane Safety settings will turn off.
僅 Whenever the vehicle is turned off
and on, Lane Safety settings retain its
settings. (Except Europe/Australia/
Russia)
Lane Keeping Assist settings
Lane safety
With the ignition switch or ENGINE
START/STOP button in the ON position,
select 'User Settings → Driver assistance
→ Lane safety' on the LCD display to set
whether to use each function.
僅 If 'LKA (Lane Keeping Assist)' is
selected, Lane Keeping Assist will
automatically assist the driver's steer
-
ing wheel when lane departure is
detected to help prevent the vehicle
from moving out of its lane.
僅 If 'LDW (Lane Departure Warning)' is
selected, Lane Keeping Assist will
warn the driver with an audible warn
-
ing when lane departure is detected.
The driver must steer the vehicle.
僅 If 'Off' is selected, Lane Keeping Assist
will turn off.
Lane Keeping Assist activation
僅 To see Lane Keeping Assist screen on
the LCD display in the cluster, Tab to
the DRIVER ASSIST mode (
).
僅 For further details, refer to "User set

tings mode" on page 4-60.
僅 After Lane Keeping Assist is activated,
if both lane markers are detected,
vehicle speed is over 60 km/h (37
mph) and all the activation conditions
are satisfied, a green steering wheel
indicator will illuminate and the steer
-
ing wheel will be controlled.
WARNING
Lane Keeping Assist is a function to help
prevent the driver from leaving the lane.
However, the driver should not solely
rely on the function but always check
the road conditions when driving.
