Rear Cross-Traffic Collision-Avoidance Assist (RCCA)

is generated, Rear Cross-Traffic
Safety warning message may not be
displayed and audible warning may
not be generated.
僅 You may not hear the warning sound
of Rear Cross-Traffic Safety if the sur

rounding is noisy.
僅 Rear Cross-Traffic Safety may not
operate if the driver applies the brake
pedal to avoid collision.
僅 During Rear Cross-Traffic Safety
operation, the vehicle may stop sud

denly injuring passengers and shifting
loose objects. Always have the seat
belt on and keep loose objects
secured.
僅 Even if there is a problem with Rear
Cross-Traffic Safety, the vehicle's
basic braking performance will oper

ate normally.
僅 If changing the gear quickly whilst the
vehicle moving forward, Rear Cross-
Traffic Safety may not work or may
operate unnecessarily.
僅 During emergency braking, braking
control by Rear Cross-Traffic Colli

sion-Avoidance Assist will automati

cally cancel when the driver
excessively depresses the accelerator
pedal.
僅 Rear Cross-Traffic Safety does not
operate in all situations or cannot
avoid all collisions.
僅 Blind-Spot Safety may warn the driver
late or may not warn the driver
depending on the road and driving
conditions.
僅 The driver should hold the responsi
-
bility to control the vehicle. Do not
solely depend on Rear Cross-Traffic
Safety. Rather, maintain a safe brak
-
ing distance, and if necessary,
depress the brake pedal to reduce
driving speed or to stop the vehicle.
僅 Never deliberately operate Rear
Cross-Traffic Safety on people, ani
-
mal, objects, etc. It may cause serious
injury or death.
CAUTION
僅 The brake control may not operate
properly depending on the status of
ESC (Electronic Stability Control).
僅 There will only be a warning when:
- The ESC (Electronic Stability Con

trol) warning light is on
- ESC (Electronic Stability Control) is
engaged in a different function
NOTICE
僅 The driver must immediately depress
the brake pedal and check vehicle
surroundings.
僅 Brake control will end when the driver
depresses the brake pedal with suffi

cient power.
僅 After shifting the gear to R (Reverse),
braking control will operate once for
left and right vehicle approach.
