Adjusting the rear seat
Forward/backward position
adjustment (if equipped)
This control knob operates only
when the ignition key is ON.
Push the front portion of the control
switch, then seat cushion moves for-
ward and seatback reclines.
Push the rear portion of the control
switch, then seat cushion moves
backward and seatback returns to
upright position.
For easier passenger loading, if the
rear seat is in any forward position
and the rear door is opened, the seat
will automatically move to the rear
position. The seat will not move back
to the original position when the door
is closed and must be repositioned
by the passenger if desired.

NOTICE
Do not continue to push the control
switch once the seat is moved to the
farthest forward or rear positions.
Doing so may damage the related
parts.
WARNING
Use extreme caution so that
hands or other objects are not
caught in the seat mechanisms
while the seat is moving.
Do not adjust the seat while
wearing seat belts. Moving the
seat cushion forward may cause
strong pressure on the
abdomen.
