Driving your vehicle
The ECS monitors the road and
driving conditions through various
sensors, and controls the vehicle
suspension to maximize passenger
comfort by minimizing road impact
on the vehicle. The driver can select
either normal or sport modes,
depending upon their driving prefer-
ence.
Selecting ECS mode
To select an ECS suspension mode,
press the ECS button on the center
console.
By pressing the ECS button, SPT
(SPORT) mode is selected and the
SPORT indicator light in the instru-
ment panel will illuminate.
Sport
mode provides a tighter suspension
and firmer ride.
Press the ECS button again to return
NOR (normal) mode (SPORT indica-
tor light in the instrument panel will
go off).
Normal mode provides a
softer ride.
For normal driving conditions, use
NOR (normal) mode.
