
SUNROOF (IF EQUIPPED)
Iý your vehicle is equipped with a sun‐
rooý, you can slide or tilt your sunrooý
with the sunrooý control switch located
on the overhead console.
The sunrooý can only be opened,
closed, or tilted when the iþnition
switch is in the ON position.
The sunrooý can be operated ýor ap‐
proximately 30 seconds aýter the iþni‐
tion key is removed or turned to the
ACC or LOCK (or OFF) position.
However, iý the ýront door is opened,
the sunrooý cannot be operated even
within the 30 seconds period.
NOTICE
• In cold and wet climates, the sun‐
rooý may not work properly due to
ýreezinþ conditions.
• Aýter washinþ the car or aýter
there is rain, be sure to wipe oýý
any water that is on the sunrooý
beýore operatinþ it.
CAUTION
• Do not continue to move the sun‐
roof control lever after the sun‐
roof is in the fully open, closed, or
tilt position. Damage to the motor
or system components could oc‐
cur.
• Make sure the sunroof is closed
fully when leaving your vehicle. If
the sunroof is open, rain or snow
may leak through the sunroof and
wet the interior as well as cause
theft.
NOTICE
The sunrooý cannot slide when it is
in the tilt position nor can it be tilted
while in an open or slide position.
WARNING
Never adjust the sunroof or sun‐
shade while driving. This could result
in loss of control and an accident
that may cause death, serious in‐
jury, or property damage.
WARNING
• In order to prevent accidental op‐
eration of the sunroof, especially
by a child, do not let a child oper‐
ate the sunroof.
• Do not sit on the top of the vehi‐
cle. It may cause vehicle damage.
