Intelligent Speed Limit Warning (ISLW)

The function displays the information of
speed limit and no passing restriction to
the driver in both the instrument cluster
and navigation screen. Intelligent Speed
Limit Warning detects traffic signs with
camera function attached on the top of
the windscreen.
Intelligent Speed Limit Warning also uti

lizes the navigation information to dis

play the speed limit information.
WARNING
僅 Intelligent Speed Limit Warning is only
an aid and is not always able to cor
-
rectly display speed limits and over
-
taking restrictions.
僅 The driver always keeps the responsi -
bility not to exceed the maximum
allowed speed
僅 Do not place any accessories, stickers
or tint the windshield near the rear
view mirror.
僅 The function detects traffic signs and
displays speed limit information by a
camera therefore, if traffic signs are
hard to detect, the function may not
work properly.
Please refer to "Driver's Attention" on
page 6-61.
僅 Do not remove any camera parts or
apply impact.
僅 Do not place objects on the dash

board that reflects light such as mir

rors, white paper, etc. The function
may malfunction if the sunlight is
reflected.

tance → Speed Limit Warning
僅 The information of speed limit and no
passing restriction will appear on the
cluster using a symbol if you have
activated
Speed Limit Warning in
User Settings of cluster.
僅 If Intelligent Speed Limit Warning is
activated in the navigation settings,
the information is also displayed on
the navigation screen.
Operation
僅 If a traffic sign that is relevant to your
vehicle is passed, the function dis
-
plays the information of the speed
limits and no passing restrictions to
the driver.
僅 When the driver turns on the ignition,
the function displays the information
of the speed limit that was stored
before the vehicle has been turned
off.
