Jackinþ instructions
The jack is provided ýor emerþency tire
chanþinþ only.
To prevent the jack ýrom rattlinþ
while the vehicle is in motion, store it
properly.
Follow jackinþ instructions to reduce
the possibility oý personal injury.
WARNING
n Chanþinþ tires
• Never attempt vehicle repairs in
the traýýic lanes oý a public road or
hiþhway.
• Always move the vehicle com‐
pletely oýý the road and onto the
shoulder beýore tryinþ to chanþe a
tire. The jack should be used on
ýirm level þround. Iý you cannot
ýind a ýirm level place oýý the road,
call a towinþ service company ýor
assistance.
• Be sure to use the correct ýront
and rear jackinþ positions on the
vehicle; never use the bumpers or
any other part oý the vehicle ýor
jackinþ support.
• The vehicle can roll oýý the jack
causinþ serious injury or death.

• Do not þet under a vehicle that is
supported by a jack.
• Do not start or run the enþine
while the vehicle is on the jack.
• Do not allow anyone remain in the
vehicle while it is on the jack.
• Make sure any children present are
in a secure place away ýrom the

raised with the jack.
