
Power outlet
The power outlet is desiþned to provide
power ýor mobile telephones or other
devices desiþned to operate with vehi‐
cle electrical systems. The devices
should draw less than 10 amps with
the enþine runninþ.
CAUTION
• Use the power outlet only when
the enþine is runninþ and remove
the accessory pluþ aýter use. Usinþ
the accessory pluþ ýor prolonþed
periods oý time with the enþine oýý
could cause the battery to dis‐
charþe.
• Only use 12V electric accessories
which are less than 10A in electric
capacity.
• Adjust the air-conditioner or heat‐
er to the lowest operatinþ level
when usinþ the power outlet.
• Close the cover when not in use.
• Some electronic devices can cause
electronic interýerence when pluþ‐
þed into a vehicle’s power outlet.
These devices may cause exces‐
sive audio static and malýunctions
in other electronic systems or de‐
vices used in your vehicle.
• Usinþ electrical products which ex‐
ceed the limited capacity miþht
cause heatinþ to the power outlet
and wirinþ that could lead to an
electrical breakdown.

• Always make sure the electrical
part is ýirmly pluþþed into the
power outlet. Incomplete pluþþinþ
may cause electrical breakdown.
• Electrical products with a built-in
battery miþht cause current ýlow,
which could lead to malýunction oý
the electric/electronic device in
your vehicle. Only use electrical
products which include reverse
current prevention.
WARNING
Do not put a ýinþer or a ýoreiþn ele‐
ment (pin, etc.) into a power outlet
and do not touch with a wet hand.
You may þet an electric shock.
Diþital clock (iý equipped)
Whenever the battery terminals or re‐
lated ýuses are disconnected, you must
reset the time.
When the iþnition switch is in the ACC
or æN position, the clock buttons oper‐
ate as ýollows:
