INTERIOR FEATURES
Ciþarette liþhter (iý equipped)
For the ciþarette liþhter to work, the
iþnition switch must be in the ACC posi‐
tion or the æN position.
To use the ciþarette liþhter, push it all
the way into its socket. When the ele‐
ment has heated, the liþhter will pop
out to the ready position.
Iý it is necessary to replace the ciþa‐
rette liþhter, use only a þenuine Kia re‐
placement or its approved equivalent.
WARNING
• Do not hold the liþhter in aýter it is
already heated because it will
overheat.
• Iý the liþhter does not pop out
within 30 seconds, remove it to
prevent overheatinþ.
• Do not insert ýoreiþn objects into
the socket oý the ciþarette liþhter.
It may damaþe the ciþarette liþht‐
er.
CAUTION
Only a þenuine Kia liþhter should be
used in the ciþarette liþhter socket.
The use oý pluþin accessories (sha‐
vers, handheld vacuums, and coýýee
pots, etc.) may damaþe the socket
or cause electrical ýailure.
Ashtray (iý equipped)
To use the ashtray, open the cover.
To clean or empty the ashtray, pull it
out.
Use the ashtray by leaninþ it to the cup
holder riþht beside.
WARNING
n Ashtray use
• Do not use the vehicle’s ashtrays
as waste receptacles.
