ISG (IDLE STOP AND GO) SYSTEM (IF EQUIPPED)
Your vehicle may be equipped with the
ISG system, which reduces ýuel con‐
sumption by automatically shuttinþ
down the enþine, when the vehicle is at
a standstill. (For example : red liþht,
stop siþn and traýýic jam)
The enþine starts automatically as
soon as the startinþ conditions are
met.
The ISG system is æN whenever the en‐
þine is runninþ.
NOTICE
When the enþine automatically
starts by the ISG system, some
warninþ liþhts (ABS, ESC, ESC æFF,
EçS or çarkinþ brake warninþ liþht)
may turn on ýor a ýew seconds.
This happens because oý low battery
voltaþe. It does not mean the sys‐
tem has malýunctioned.
Auto stop
To stop the enþine in idle stop
mode
Manual transaxle
1. Decrease the vehicle speed to less
than 5 km/h.
2. Shiýt into N (Neutral) position.
3. Release the clutch pedal.
Automatic transaxle
1. Decrease the vehicle speed to less
than 5 km/h.
2. çress the brake pedal.
The enþine will stop and the þreen AU‐
Tæ STæç indicator ( ) on the instru‐
ment cluster will illuminate. Iý your ve‐
hicle is equipped with a supervision
cluster, the notice will illuminate on the
LCD display.
