Driving your vehicle Blind-Spot Collision-Avoidance Assist (BCA)
NOTICE
If the engine is restarted, Blind-Spot Col

lision-Avoidance Assist will maintain the
last setting.
Warning timing
With the ignition switch or ENGINE
START/STOP button in the ON position,
select 'Driver assistance → Warning tim
-
ing' from the 'User settings (LCD display)
or Setup → Vehicle (Infotainment Sys
-
tem screen)' menu to change the initial
warning activation time for Blind-Spot
Collision-Avoidance Assist.
When the vehicle is first delivered, Warn
-
ing Timing is set to ‘Normal’. If you
change the Warning timing, the warning
time of other Driver Assistance functions
may change.
Warning volume
With the ignition switch or ENGINE
START/STOP button in the ON position,
select 'Driver assistance → Warning vol
-
ume' from the 'User settings (LCD dis
-
play) or Setup → Vehicle (Infotainment
System screen)' menu to change the
Warning volume to 'High', ‘Medium’,
‘Low’ or 'Off' (if equipped) for Blind-Spot
Collision-Avoidance Assist.However,
when Warning volume is turned Off, the
steering wheel vibration function will
turn on if it was turned Off.
If you change the Warning volume, the
warning volume of other Driver Assis
-
tance functions may change.
CAUTION
僅 The setting of the Warning timing and
Warning volume applies to all func
-
tions of the Blind-Spot Collision-
Avoidance Assist.
僅 Even though ‘Normal’ is selected for
Warning timing, if the vehicles
approaches at high speed, the initial
warning activation time may seem
late.
僅 Select ‘Late’ for Warning Timing when
traffic is light and when driving speed
is slow.
