Driving your vehicle Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist (FCA) (Sensor fusion)
僅 Driving on an inclined road
Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist
may not detect other vehicle, pedes

trian or cyclist in front whilst driving
uphill or downhill and this may result
in no warning, braking assist or steer

ing assist when necessary.
When the function suddenly recog
-
nizes the vehicle, pedestrian or cyclist
in front whilst passing over a slope,
you may experience sharp decelera
-
tion.
Always keep your eyes forward whilst
driving upward or downward on a
slope, and, if necessary, depress the
brake pedal to reduce your driving
speed in order to maintain distance.

When a vehicle changes lanes in front
of you, FCA may not immediately
detect the vehicle, especially if the
vehicle changes lanes abruptly. In this
case, you must maintain a safe brak

ing distance, and if necessary,
depress the brake pedal to reduce
your driving speed in order to main

tain a safe distance.
