Tires

Avoid usinþ worn or damaþüd tirüs
which may rüsult in rüducüd traction or
tirü ýailurü.

WARNING
• Underinflated or overinflated tires
can cause poor handling, loss of
vehicle control, and sudden tire
failure leading to accidents, inju‐
ries, and even death. Always check
the tires for proper inflation be‐
fore driving. For proper tire pres‐
sures, refer to Tires and wheels
on page 9-09.
• Driving on tires with no or insuffi‐
cient tread is dangerous. Worn-out
tires can result in loss of vehicle
control, collisions, injury, and even
death. Worn-out tires should be
replaced as soon as possible and
should never be used for driving.
